The front clip is too wide for the PSAK47 front sling loop. I dremmeled it to get it to fit. Very minor surface rust in a few spots on the bluing. Smelled like an old canvas tent that's been in the garage for 20 years. I soaked in vinegar, then scrubbed with dish soap, then soaked in oxyclean. Smell is mostly gone and strap is much more pliant. Color matches Magpul OD Green.
Great addition to the Zastava ZPAP M70 or any other Yugo AK.
They are good just need to be cleaned up a bit before you put on your rifle. Used Dawn soap to clean cosmoline on the fabric and steel wool for any surface rust on metal. Plenty serviceable.
I wanted a Yugo sling for my new ZPAP and was not disappointed. It's got that signature surplus smell, but looks to be in pristine condition. 10/10 would buy again.
Received two really nice slings, minor surface rust on bluing from storage but it wiped off nicely with a rag.
Don't expect a perfect sling - I received a well used and slightly rusted surplus sling that was covered in cosmoline. It actually cleaned up quite well and the OD green webbing is very sharp. The clasps / buckles / clips, whatever, had slight surface rust that I think a very light coat of grease will prevent from spreading. Good product overall but it is definitely a well used item.
