Good shape, did have the usual surplus smell and some cosmoline on the metal parts, a soak in hot water and purple stuff, and a quick scrub with a nylon brush, looks great, exactly what I wanted…
One sling was in great shape the other was rusty and may not be salvageable.
I did expect a better condition example for the total cost of $33. Maybe it'll look better if I wash it!
The YUGO Sling that I received was in an unissued condition. This sling is in pristine condition. The hardware on the sling was perfect with the original finish on the hardware and no signs of use or rust. The green canvas webbing is in perfect condition with no abrasive areas on the sling. These are surplus, one is almost new condition, the other very good to excellent. Look great on the current import Zastavas that come without a sling.
The sling is in good shape and the hardware is in good condition too. Has the overwhelming smell of moldy surplus.
Doesn’t get much nicer than this. Smells like every other item I’ve ever received that said “cosmoline” in the description or reviews. . Great surplus condition. Functions perfect!
As the description suggests, the sling is for carry only. Sling had a little rust on it, and a bit of a musty smell. Soaked it in oxiclean and then vinegar, and is fine now even if the color did bleed a little.
