I had bought one of these yugo ak slings back in 2021 or 2022 and it was beautiful, grey colored canvas and the sling looked pristine.
So I figured they may all be in a similar condition. Got another yugo and wanted a second sling based on the first experience.
I got one that I wouldn’t even call a fair grade.
Green canvas that looks super dingy and there is a lot of rust on the end metal piece.
Can say I would recommend these anymore. Not sure if I got a great one the first time around just by random luck.

Very nice sling. Not new, but close to it other than some very light stains here and there. Perfect for what I was hoping to get. All metal had a light coat of cosmoline and once cleaned off there was no rust and metal looks new. Wonderful surplus smell. Would definitely buy again.
Sling was more like a good used one rather than new. Still very serviceable.Has that smell to it , you know what I'm talking about if you buy surplus.

Pretty dirty and rust spots, but doable.
Nice sling if you are of small stature, but way too small for me at 6' 250 pounds. For bigger people, just get the green Russian surplus sling with clip(s). Those slings are much longer, thicker, and also wider. I would call this Yugo sling "medium duty".
Ahh, the smell of old moldy surplus slings. The Best!
