Couldn’t believe these existed when i picked one up and was not disappointed-a nice counterpart to my Russian bakelite collection! Nice mottled bake grips.

    Great grips

Have bought 4 of these from AKOptions. They have all been in pretty good condition and, after a good cleaning, look great on any rifle.

    Order more than one!

Posted by John on Oct 2nd 2021

Ordered two, one came looking NOS with fantastic pattern and the other came in VG condition but very little in the way of flecks. If you're hoping for a really nice looking piece order at least two to give you a better chance at a really cool one.

Used, VG condition. Great original mottled appearance. Excellent value for 50 year old item.

    Great Surplus Grip

Posted by Jomel on May 2nd 2021

Great Surplus Bakelite AR grip! Obviously there is cosmetic issues with it, but that’s always to be expected when you buy something surplus. This grip really improves the comfort because it doesn’t have the annoying A2 style nub. I like it!

    M16 Bakelite Grip

Really cool retro product. If you like an A2 grip angle but absolutely hate the little finger groove, this is definitely for you. The material used and the age of it also gives it some really good character. Just wish it came with the screw.

    Neat piece of history

Picked up three of these. All came in working order but varying states of wear. Even the most heavily worn grip (grip mostly smooth) is still totally functional and I'm looking forward to pairing it with the right rifle
