I bought two of these, Both are in serviceable shape with a few minor gouges on one and the diamond grip worn down on the other. But both are still structurally sound. No complaints, actually like these a little better than the standard A2/M4 grips, they just feel more natural. My two have no bakelite sworls or patterns to them like in the picture, they look like they started out as glossy black grips but most of the shiny has worn off to satin black with a few small patches of shiny left here and there. So looks-wise, mine are a bit of a letdown (compared to the pic), but performance-wise, they are great. And at the Memorial Day sale price, they are awesome.

This grip is awesome! I used the new style M4/M16A2 grip when I was in, and this OG one is waaay more comfortable than that. It feels like the same grip angle, but without the finger groove sticking out and it is fatter. It also looks cool and was cheap. Mine was definitely used, with some scuffs and scratches on the bottom, but it is way cooler than a newer grip.
I wasn't that impressed with this grip when I unwrapped it, it looked faded and pretty beat up. I decided to clean it up by scrubbing it with some mild cleaning solution and a nylon brush. Much to my surprise, the bakelite pattern popped so brightly that it is nearly 3D! The grip definately has seen some use but I can't hardly focus on the minor discontinuities because the bakelite pattern is so eye grabbing.
I bought three more.

Awesome service, products and prices purchased two early type Bakelite M16 grips one for my XM177E1 build and one for my Colt 603 build very beautiful with good color and molting of the Bakelite and very pleased with both grips I purchased it also was fast shipping would definitely recommend these grips for anyone looking for rare very early grips for a clone retro build
I put these on my modern and vintage style AR’s they’re just that damn cool
Mine came in good condition the stippling was all there and it fit a retro build I’m doing so I’m happy with it, the pattern is very unique and it’s almost a brendell color if that helps.
The bakelite material never held up very well. Don't be too disappointed when you unwrap it. Use some good wax and you can make it look presentable on your retro build.
