Just what I was looking for. Leather is nice and supple with no cracks. Has the perfect amount of wear to go with my crusty md63 clone. Two thumbs up.
Every bit of "like new" you could get from a surplus sling. Applied a little leather cleaner when I initially got it and it looks like new. Leather feels nice and solid. Not a lot of cracks in it. The metal clasp still has a little resistance so it won't open easily. Happy with the purchase.

A bit better condition than description. Imagine you bought a leather belt and you have used it for only a month. That’s the condition. Metal pieces on mine had a “battlefield pickup” used look. Great sling!

The condition of this sling is even better than I could’ve hoped. It looks almost new to me. Even has a nice leather smell. No rust on the metal components. Completed the look I was going for on my WASR. Ol’school.
