These Romanian laminate wood "dong" handguards are the original vertical grip for the AK platform. These hand guards are in Good Surplus condition but may display signs of use dings, dents, scratches, Cosmoline, wear. They will go great on your Wasr or other AK rifle.
Bought two of these, one came with dark red shellac and was fairly scratched/nicked and generally worn (looks super cool), the other looks like it's never been touched - heat vents are completely crisp and clean and is even serialized on the side. Both fit incredibly snug in my SAR and Draco. Couldn't be happier.

I put this on my wasr and it really wasn’t a hard install. When I took it to the range I liked it a lot, my only complaint is that the finish was kind of flaky and cracked, that’s to be expected with milsurp though.
