Excellent - Like New Condition Yugo handguards sets. These look like they have never been installed. Comes with both upper and lower handguard. Bare wood which is great for a refinishing project or just to use as is. These do NOT come with a metal ferrule.

Just as the product states, these are yugo handguards in near perfect condition. Unfinished, they are great candidates for refinishing. I, personally, just applied linseed oil and kept them how they are. A little loose on my M70AB2, but with the AK platform, this is par for the course. For the price, these are the way to go.
Very nice set - used Hand Select option and they are excellent! Just what I needed.
Like new handguards with any blemishes what so ever. This are in the raw. I lightly sanded with 400 and used boiled linseed oil. I put 3 coats and they ended up looking exactly like they should on a new Yugo from factory. BLO isn't a film finish but soaks into the wood and gives the same look and feel of Yugo finished wood. I've read Yugoslavia uses BLO on their wood finishing process AS ALWAYS THANKS AKOPTONS FOR THE OFFERING!
Mine looked just like the pic, Excellent shape and clean, new and unused. I smoothed the edges a little, stained it with minwax red elm and then dark walnut, then spray urethane and it looks immaculate.
Like new. Bare wood. Mine was a dark color and looks awesome with a clear lacquer coat.
arrived quickly, perfect as new condition. There was even included the metal insert installed in the lower hand guard. They should mention that it is included in the description as I was searching every where to find that part but thankfully it was already there!

These are the best I've seen anywhere !! Look like new old stock and not embedded with grease and dirt like most others are. Now I can stain if I want.
