This part is in great condition with no scratches or other signs of hard use. Very shiny, with a nice reddish brown color. It was a little "irregular" at the top where it meets the bottom of the receiver, but a few strokes with a flat file smoothed it out, and it was a little tight where it met the trigger guard on my MAK 90, but again, a few strokes with a precision Swiss file cleared that up. I'm waiting on a new buttstock from Ironwood Designs, and when that arrives and I refinish tht and my handguards, I bet it will look great!
If it weren't for the few fitting issues I'd have given it 5-stars.
Im giving these 5 stars because i do ak stuff. They are in pretty dang good shape. I ordered 2 to put the best one on my ak. It diddnt come with the screw which it diddnt say was included so took some dremeling to get the one i had to get mostly flush. That's ak stuff. Looks good cant post a pic otherwise i would
These will give any AK a perfect surplus or nice classic look. They are hardly worn at all, I would put this product between good-new condition. The colors do vary a bit, from darker red to a medium reddish brown
Quality varies but considering the price, I'm happy overall. Thank you!
This grip was great. Issued with just enough wear to make it look cool. This place has really fast shipping too.
The grip had arrived in excellent condition. Very happy with my purchase!
I ordered two of these for my AK47 and AK74. Perfect fit and beautiful look.
Had the fitting issue with my stock grip bolt as well, minor fitting required. Mine came cracked near the top where it sits on the rear of the trigger guard, but it cleans up nice and looks great. I guess the crack was why it was on sale at $5.50.
I'm really happy with how it turned out on my ZPAP85, was in really good condition for how old these probably are. The only issue is it didn't come with a screw and the head on the one from my serbian grip was way too big to seat and thread in. Had to take a drill to the grip and counterbore it out quite a lot, and I chipped it pretty bad in the process. But I should have taken it slower, so I don't hold that against the grip.
