The Romanian gas tube is definitely surplus, showing wear on the finish, and some dirt and rust internally. Unfortunately it's not a simple "drop in" for my new Romanian WASR-10 and will need some grinding. The $10 flat shipping fee is higher than the average out there, but it was quick as promised. Overall, I wish I had bought a new unit from another seller.

Luckily they were, I got my gas tube within the week an it was exactly as looked an described, I couldn’t be happier as there’s no where out there that you can find these. Tube looks like new. I purchased it for my WASR 10, which had a gap between the gas block and the gas tube. Bugged me for years until this tube arrived. Gap is finally gone and I'm happy now.
