I can't overstate this, the bayonet I received was basically new. Blade, handle, sheath and frog were all perfect, and it felt like I was the first person to actually draw the blade. It is surprisingly sharp, give it was meant for stabbing, and the grip couldn't feel much better. Of all the knives I have, this jumped to the top of the list in terms of all-around excellence. I hadn't planned to buy this, but I'm glad I did, and you will be too.
Good condition for a surplus item. As the other review says, it does not come with the hand sling. Leather is soft and not cracked. Some wear on the handle but the blade is almost perfect. It's just as the description states other than no hand sling.
Reddit user who saw a deal, better quality then I expected. Slight wear and tear (character) but no damage*. Knife metal is great quality. Quality rubber scabbard and actually works as wire cutter. *Did not come with handle sling shown in image* 9/10. Would buy again, -1 due to not exactly as imaged.
This was received super fast order shipped the next day and I had it within 4 days. The product was in excellent condition for being surplus and looked to be punished. I would buy again.
This knife is solid for all applications, including a nice finishing touch on your standard AKM pattern guns. My knife looks to be unissued, the scabbard has a little dirt on it but aside from that it's pristine. The retention in the scabbard is very strong - albeit a little stronger in comparison to what others seem to experience with their knives. The edge on mine is pretty dull but other than that there aren't any marks or knicks. I plan on using this as a beater knife out in the woods, thing definitely feels like a tank. For $35 after shipping you really can't go wrong. Knife shipped a day earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. I'd highly recommend this knife to anyone wanting to complete an AK build or needs a solid knife that can take a beating.
