It works. Once I got the old spring out this popped right in.
When I had the original spring in the trigger pin would occasionally move into the receiver. This seems to have 100% eliminated that, so far. Can’t beat the price either.

I finally caved to the peer pressure and got a retaining plate for my WASR. It took about 10 seconds to install—it's the fastest and easiest "upgrade" you can do for your AK. There are many varieties of retaining plate around, but AKOption's offering is second to none. The fit and finish are superb and I didn't need to do any modifications to the plate to make it work. I just pulled out the shepherd's hook and slid the retaining plate into place. Easy peasy!
