Yugo Surplus SKS Wood stock. Unissued never installed Condition however Will show signs of long term storage such as dirt, stains, water stains, scratches or dings.
Stocks will arrive with no parts attached with a bag including the sling swivel, cleaning kit spring, trap door assembly, rubber butt plate, and cross bar assembly.
For the price I was expecting something in better condition than what I got. The stock was covered in mold and mildew all over on one side and some on the inside. The handguard/tube cover looks brand new and is a different color from the stock itself, I suspect the original was lost and this is a newly made replacement tube cover.
I was disappointed but not discouraged. I got some white distilled vinegar to kill the mold and boiled linseed oil to finish and seal the wood. After that I put it all together and my rifle wouldn't quite fit in the stock so I had to sand down the stock a bit in two places, which is to be expected with a new SKS stock. It looks great after the work I put into it, but the tube cover is still just slightly mismatched in color. For ~$155 total It was a bit on the expensive side for a finish-it-yourself project, but it did turn out looking very nice aside from the tube cover not matching.

This is a very nice stock. Cleaned and rubbed in some boiled linseed oil and its beautiful. As described id does show some marks from storage but really nice.
