Colt Bakelite AR/M16 1960s Bakelite grip, Speckled with Brown swirls. Used condition but with lots of life left in them.
I ordered two grips and added the $10 “Hand Select” option for one of them. I highly suggest this if you’re looking for a really nice grip. The hand selected grip was in excellent condition with barely any noticeable handling marks. The other which was just randomly selected had some wear/scratches and didn’t have much marbling to it. It’s still useable but the hand select is much nicer. You’ll need to clean these grips as they’ve probably been in storage for a few decades. I used dawn, hot water and a tooth brush. Make sure you take the time to clean out the hole for the safety detent as well. Oil them if you want a glossier look or leave them as is if you like more marbling. 10/10 would order again.
Sent exactly what I asked for without delay!
Cleaned up nice. Placed on my retro M16A1.
Just what I was looking for at a very reasonable price
Thanks
I got two, one for my XM-177 clone-ish build and one for a future project. Both are in function condition. The finishes show their age. I cleaned then slathered both in gun oil and let sit for a couple day. That made a big difference and brought them back for my use,
The grip came in very good shape. Really love the bakelite grip.
Looks beautiful, fits perfectly on my weapon.
I mever get tired of bakelite. The patterns are dope. The color contrast is amazing.
These go hard with all my ODG guns, and look pretty good on the black ones. I imagine they'd look great on a tiger striped gun as well.
The grip shape feels infinitely better in my hand than the standard A2 grips that come with most lpks. The lack of finger bump is just what the Dr. ordered.
I've got a couple dozen of them and will be sad when the supply finally dries up.
I bought two of these, Both are in serviceable shape with a few minor gouges on one and the diamond grip worn down on the other. But both are still structurally sound. No complaints, actually like these a little better than the standard A2/M4 grips, they just feel more natural. My two have no bakelite sworls or patterns to them like in the picture, they look like they started out as glossy black grips but most of the shiny has worn off to satin black with a few small patches of shiny left here and there. So looks-wise, mine are a bit of a letdown (compared to the pic), but performance-wise, they are great. And at the Memorial Day sale price, they are awesome.
